Frequently Asked Questions

PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY & SIZING

Q: How do I know which tire size fits my e-bike? A: Check your current tire sidewall for size markings (like 20x4.0, 26x4.0, etc.). The first number is diameter, the second is width. Match these numbers exactly when ordering. If the sidewall is worn, measure the tire diameter and width with a tape measure. Common sizes we carry: 16x4, 20x3, 20x4, 20x5, 26x3, 26x4.

Q: Can I mix different tire sizes on the same bike? A: We don't recommend mixing tire sizes. Both tires should be the same size for proper handling, braking, and safety. If you need to replace just one tire, make sure it matches your existing tire size exactly.

Q: Do your tires come with tubes? A: Most of our listings clearly specify "with tube" or "tubeless" options. Check the product title and description - we offer both options for most tire sizes. If you're unsure, just ask!

Q: Are your tire prices per piece or per pair? A: All our tire prices are per individual tire (per piece), not per pair. If you need two tires, you'll need to order quantity 2.

Q: What's the difference between TPI ratings on your tires? A: TPI (Threads Per Inch) indicates tire construction quality. Higher TPI (60+) = smoother ride, more flexible sidewalls. Lower TPI (30-40) = more durable, puncture-resistant. Choose based on your riding style and terrain.

Q: Will your fat tires fit my regular bike? A: Fat tires require specific frame clearance and rim width. Most regular bikes can't accommodate fat tires due to frame limitations. Fat tires are designed for e-bikes and fat bikes with appropriate clearance.

Q: What's the difference between your tire tread patterns? A: Smooth/street treads: Best for pavement, less rolling resistance. Knobby treads: Better traction for off-road, dirt, sand. Snake skin patterns: Balanced performance for mixed terrain. Choose based on where you ride most.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Q: Can I return items if I ordered the wrong size? A: We have a strict no-return policy except for defective or broken items. Please double-check compatibility before ordering. We recommend measuring your current tires and confirming fitment before purchase.

Q: I bought the wrong item by mistake. Can I return it? A: Unfortunately, we don't accept returns for items purchased by mistake. Please verify compatibility and specifications before ordering. Our team is happy to help confirm fitment before you purchase.

Q: What constitutes a defective product? A: Manufacturing defects, damage during shipping, or items that don't match the description. Normal wear, improper installation, or customer-caused damage are not covered under our defect policy.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Q: What PSI should I inflate my fat tires to? A: Check the tire sidewall for recommended PSI range. Generally: 20x4 tires: 20-30 PSI, 26x4 tires: 15-25 PSI. Lower pressure = more comfort and traction, higher pressure = better efficiency and speed.

Q: My tire won't seat properly on the rim. What should I do? A: Ensure you have the correct tire size for your rim. Check that the tire bead is evenly seated around the rim. For tubeless tires, you may need sealant and higher initial pressure to seat properly.

Q: How long do fat tires typically last? A: With normal use, quality fat tires last 1,000-3,000 miles depending on riding conditions, tire pressure maintenance, and riding style. Regular inspection helps maximize tire life.

Q: Can I use tubeless tires with tubes? A: Yes! Tubeless tires can be used with tubes if needed. However, you won't get the puncture-resistance benefits of tubeless setup. Make sure to use the correct tube size.

Q: My controller/motor isn't working properly. Do you provide support? A: We provide basic troubleshooting support for products we sell. For complex electrical issues, we recommend consulting a local e-bike technician. Send us videos showing the problem for initial diagnosis.
